Whoa, necromancy in this comment thread!
“There is no such thing as a dumb question.”
~Carl Sagan
Edited because: I doubt Caro Sagan is a person
Somebody asked a dumb question.
Why do the opportunities have to be “like her mentor”? Why can’t she find her own kind of greatness instead of following in her mentor’s hoofsteps?
Not really. Twilight becoming more like her mentor as she learns and grows from her experiences is an idea that I’d always been on board with. She’s the personal student of the God-Princess of Ponykind, for Christ’s sake. If that doesn’t give you some opportunities for moving up, then I don’t know what would.
The concept is fundamentally flawed. There can be no good execution, only damage control.
It could have been done alright, but MMC for sure wasn’t how.
MMC was indeed a mess as an episode. Twilicorn, depends.
The whole concept is stupid and nonsensical. MMC was a mess, but there’s really no “good” way to pull off Twilicorn.
No, I’m whining about whining. You can have your opinion, but there comes a certain point where shoving it in people’s faces who never asked for it gets tiresome.
I thought you were already doing that by whining about anyone having different opinions to your own.
What a convincing argument. Yes, clearly you have proven beyond a doubt that whining about this thing you don’t like is a worthwhile endeavor and isn’t just annoying at this point. I am awed by the perfection of your perfectly-crafted response. You have shown me the light, good sir.
From now on I will whine endlessly and without pause about my not liking something, even if it accomplishes nothing but being annoying.
I hope a spider crawls up your nose while you’re asleep tonight.
Fortunately you can’t complain about this post, since it’s already set in stone. I couldn’t edit it even if I wanted to.
And complaining about something that’s already set in stone is sure to accomplish something, amirite?
