Yeah, I shouldn’t have spouted that artist comparison, but still felt like saying it. Not the worst thing I’ve seen someone complain about on here.
I find this artist’s art better than the all popular MixerMike and pikapetey’s animations look far superior. Don’t know how his writing is because I’ve only been looking at his short animated gifs, but beating MixerMike in writing can’t be hard. Gonna look into pika’s character creations, but I honestly think that Fluffle Puff is an annoying, no personality, boring character who acts silly (mentally challenged).
Also I think every booru is an image dump for its respective topic. I would name some bold stuff about that, but this is a safe image.
I actually like it BECAUSE it’s so offputting and disturbing. And compared to some other disturbing things I’ve seen around here, it’s actually rather tame.

look, I know the style I chose for my short film not many people like.
In fact they find it off putting and disturbing.
That’s great cause the entire film is off putting and disturbing. If people have that type of reaction to the art for it. it means I’m doing my job correctly
To make sure I’m target, I do these “tests” with derpibooru from time to time because I’ve been starring at this single project for OVER 7 MONTHS NOW.
I want to get my art out there but I don’t want to spoil the animation to people who don’t come onto my livestream. So I post on here for the lulz of it.
The amount of upvotes and downvotes that my art receives is not going to affect my progress. I’m still going to animate this project regardless.

Don’t white Knight me. You have have your own debates on this thread but don’t jump to defend my “honor” I hate when peeps do that. Let me dig my own grave.
As for why your stuff would get downvoted, I don’t know and I don’t care. What certainly won’t help in that regard is annoying the entire board because a dozen or so people don’t like your stuff.
Thanks Petey, Now lets be honest here. This is a booru, it’s a loose community with people coming and going and a reasonably sized userbase. It’s pretty hard to track any kind of common consensus in terms of what people will like due to the fact the users visiting will be different each day.
We’re not here to hate or bully artists, quite the opposite, because a booru relies on artists allowing us to host their art to function.
Now yes your art is gonna get a downvote here and there and it’s gonna get criticism. But most of the people I’ve talked to have said good things about your work and only turned sour with this stunt which, you have to admit, you did purely to irritate people.
