Correction. One was French. Gilda didn’t strike me as French. Fleur seemed more French then Gilda ever did.

That said, if a non-Genevieve name starting with G were to be signed off on, I’d prefer it to be an Eastern European one.
I prefer Genevieve, but I’m a-okay with any name starting with a G.
We could pick that but eventually the actual equestrian games episode will air, the new canon name could be released and we will need to change all the tags (unless they miraculously match up).
I just like names that start with a hard G sound for Griffons, like Gilda or Gustave.
