Which I am looking forward to.
I was thinking it’d be more like Look before you sleep and they’d end up arguing again.
Let them hate all they want. I’ve always fancied some Rarijack rivalries. It might end up being like another Blueblood, inconclusive.
I dunno. This premise might inspire “Flash Sentry” level butthurt.
That, I must see.
And now I’m picturing Rarity going to her parents’ house and saying, “Mother, Father, please…could you give me a…little help…on how to act like a ‘common’ pony? I seem to have forgotten.”
It would be so perfect if Twi got in a sick burn to that effect while Rarity’s trying to act ‘countrified’. Even better if she was totally clueless.
If nothing else, this is a pretty good case for Spike’s maturity not being too far-off from some ponies; Rarity in particular. And far from being a nail in the coffin of the ship, like some dolts are thinking, it’ll probably just serve as more fic-fuel. They both make fools of themselves while pursuing someone and pride goes out the window.
Yeah, I love the TV series “Castle” and I thought “This would be awesome ponified”
Glad to see i’m not the only one who likes the idea.
Spike and Sweetie. It’d be hilarious.
Spike would turn up, and Rarity would (oer dramatically) prepare to let him down easy - and he’d utterly blank her to go see Sweetie.
And Scootaloo and AB would sit off to the side, AB saying how cute it is, and Scoots being all sarcastic.
Frankly I just want Spike to start playing the field. That would be a juicy episode if he finds another interest.
Applejack: Ah hah ah hah! GIMME THAT! (swipes her hat)
I’d watch that series.
I’d watch the hell out of it.
My theory is that Tenderhoof is actually a only interested in Applejack as a source of writing inspiration for research for a new book. The episode ends when they find out that a book based on farming isn’t quite what Tenderhoof thought it would be, so Tenderfoot goes off to find a new inspiration.
And then he meet a Royal Guard MARE who becomes his new inspiration and Tenderfoot makes a series of books based on her while he’s following her on every murder investigation she goes on.
It gets it’s own spin-off.
Castle Guard.
Given Andy’s AJ preference, I would not be surprised if this was the episode, since there’s a lot of the Rarity Micro that is comedically similar to this.
They are through rustling softly.
Now, there is a mighty rustle.
A deafening rustle.
And no jimmy is safe.
A seemingly one-sided love affair that involves trying to impress the other side with increasingly ridiculous stunts? Sounds familiar…
1: Poor Spike.
2: this can only end hilariously
