Princess Celestia decided to form an alliance with the Crystal Empire  
The Crystal Ponies seeing that they aren’t so different to the other ponies living in Equestria, they now want to belong there  
Emperor Mirror Light realizing it summoned the Imperial Court and decreed his plans for the Union  
Celestia received an official invitation to the Assembly in the Crystal Empire, sent Princess Luna and the Royal Court  
During the Assembly, both parts agreed to merge both States into a Confederation  
Princess Luna granted him the Title of Great Archduke and the Star of Harmony Order  
Luna decided to stay there longer and began to be loved and respected by the Crystal Ponies, while they became hostile to Celestia, because she didn’t want to come to the Assembly and Ceremonies  
Mirror and Luna organized many events in the Empire together, most of them during the night
