That is merely your opinion. Pretty much no one gets on my case for drawing in a show-accurate style, after all. And besides, there are only so many ways to draw a pony. This is one of the cutest methods yet, so the more there is of it, the better.
People should develop their own style instead of trying to be like others.
How many ways can one interpret a comment like that? Perhaps if you feel you are being misunderstood, you could try to make the intent of your statements plainer.

I would hardly care if there were even more artists who drew in this style, if it is done this well. So what if people imitate, it’s flattering and it looks good.
