@Keith Mowz
I will admit that it was funny, the first time I heard it; but given that I didn’t start watching the Nostalgia Critic until about April 10th, 2009 (right around the release of his TMNT review where he got in trouble for that Mako joke), I guess that I was never really that fond of that particular joke to begin with.
Its not very ironic, actually.
The fans ran it into the ground within the first month, and at this some point are probably in the lower fucking mantle because they just won’t let it die.
Ironically, even Doug himself has come to hate this joke.
A BAT CREDIT CARD?! DOES NOT COMPUTE SOME ONE SHOULD SHOULD KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Serious, yes. I think he’s continued to gradually improve throughout the show’s run. I also like that he got rid of his cut-off date handicap. He’s also been putting out a lot more content than he has for a long time, with a review/editorial every week (despite him initially saying it was going to be ‘every two weeks with maybe something else the week between’) disneycember, and the vlogs.
Well see, that’s much better. The original comment sounded like it was stating a fact, not an opinion.
That’s…fair enough, as humour can be quite subjective. In my opinion, I found that joke unfunny.
So does Doug give good head for you to say that or are you serious?
It really wasn’t. As a fan of both old critic and new critic, new critic is more consistently funny than old critic, with the added bonus of being much better and thorough in explaining his points.
It just reminds them of a better time.
The various other reactions and pictures seem to disagree.
NOOOOOOO!
