More than that. Twilight Sparkle noted that her spell to “de-vampirize” the vampire fruitbats accidentally drove their cravings into Fluttershy because she was using The Stare on them at the time. What we’re seeing here are those cravings leaving Fluttershy and (presumably) returning to their original owners.
