I’m aware of that. It’s just that I’m seeing even more stuff about “muffins” than her other fanon, like being clumsy or working as a mailmare. And out of all of those, liking muffins is the least interesting.
I find it humorous that it’s automatically assumed that there is anger behind a post if someone doesn’t like it. Anger is not a requirement for calling someone out on their own stupidity. I’m sorry that sarcasm is so painful to you.
Really just give any supporting or background character something intelligent to say and I’ll take it.
Kind of a missed opportunity, really. There could have been the conflict of Colgate/Minuette’s current “personality” of being a dental hygiene freak with a secret obsession with baked sweets, or hell, give poor ol’ Sea Swirl any hint of personality whatsoever. But nope, people had to settle on Derpy.
It’s been like that for 3 years, anon. Ever since S01E04 where she was in a crowd of ponies saying “muffins”, people have made the joke that she really likes muffins.

I just find it bizarre that a relatively mundane comment managed to spark such a reaction on derpibooru. Honestly I’d like this site much more if people called me shit like “captain tryhard” more often. Shitposting can actually be quite beneficial in ensuring that communities don’t take everything ultra-seriously.
