@Amethyst_Crystal Mostly my thing is that it seems like the background ponnies that only had 3 lines ever (as well as the background humans) were all voiced by two people, and neither had acting lessons. I mean sure, everyone did that back then…but it always got pointed out/noticed more often on girl shows. Probably since boy shows have lots of explosions and rockets going on at the same time so bad acting was less noticeable.  
(honestly what I wish would have happened was a lot more crossover between the shows of the same company. Oh man, Baroness and Scarlet as ponies! xD)

To be fair the animation errors were quite common back then (due to the overseas animation) in ’80s & ‘90s cartoons. The animation/art was still fairly good for it’s time. (Especially, the ones done in Japan.)
 
I liked how “Garfield & Friends” even had a clever episode poking fun at animation errors.

Honestly only some of the VA work was bad, some of them were consistent and good.  
I think some of the more horrible animation errors are of greater concern.
 
But, it was an incredibly creative and exciting fantasy adventure show, anyway. :)

agh, too much cute, above and below, whatever could I do?!?  
I really think MLP Friends would have lasted a lot longer and gotten more boys/teens interested if they would just have gotten some damn VAs that didn’t all sound alike.
