Well, technically, it’s that all modern birds are descended from Archeopteryx, but it’s more fun to say that chickens are descended from velociraptors. It’s still more or less accurate though, they’re basically the same thing.
But what’s really important is that we cheer up the Scootaloo.
I can only wish I was related to a dinosaur. No one’s gonna cheer me up like that. :(

So it is the velociraptor that the chicken comes from? God are dinosaurs are confusing or what? Hell it’s cause of those fossilized bastards that people made up dragons…….wait no that was a good thing…
Actually, now that you mention it, I do remember that was found out a few years ago.
Wait hold on, wasn’t it the T-Rex that the chicken descended from or did some new recent discovery in archeology disprove that? I remember not even a decade ago people said the raptor was bigger than a human but now they’re saying it was pretty much a feathered lizard-like creature no bigger than a dog.
Though I am one of those “creationist freaks” I insist the first post of this should be veloca-scoot eating a chickun.
(also don’t worry, I don’t go around putting down those that belive in evolution, I just disagree but no hatin)

Velociloo?
If this one comment doesn’t spawn a whole new magnificent breed of Scootaloo meme I don’t know what will….life is so unfair…
