No, the worst is when the previews are songs. That’s their trump card, and I think they realized how stupid it is to show it.

Well, they sorta had set the stage with Twilight’s alicornation way early as to make it a TV event, and given the way a fraction of the bronies reacted, I can sorta see how they had to explain that away. But MMC was a fluke more than the norm.
 
One 30 second teaser for a 22 min episode is completely fine. But there were times last season and before where we had 3 or 4 of those (ignoring leaks like the Smile song, etc.) Even this season we had 3 30-sec clips for the 2 part premiere, and all of them in the exposition part of the story. It sounds like the Hub’s learned the lesson of not over promoting these now.

I have no problem with 30 sec teases from the cold opener or first five minutes. This is how you tease right, compared to having nearly a full 6 minutes of episode for MMC last year.

Question for the day: are those crumpled papers writing- or tissue papers?
