I know most of my characters are canon just sapient sacks of animated, elastic muscle and fat that only have internal anatomy when its convenient for them to do so.
I usually just assume that same-size-vore preds have extradimensional anatomy. (I’ve seen at least one artist say that outright, but unfortunately I can’t find the comment now.)

yeah but even in the first part, there’s the hand sticking out of her mouth, and I think that’s the other hand making an imprint on her throat. unless she’s been swallowing him over the course of a few hours, digestion can’t explain that not big enough belly.
