I mean, I agree that Fluttershy’s as good as a bell ringer as any pony. But she’s better off being adorable on camera and not cooped up in a bell tower all day, ya know?
I’m all about it myself…it’s just that…if you make her lose, she’ll blow her fuse, you’ve got to watch out.
There’s 10 layers of crazy underneath that sweet demeanor.
But is that her normal job? Hence my OC.
…Let me have this one thing, dangit.
Fluttershy rings it by throwing tourists and their cameras at it during her fits of rage.
But doing that causes ring… ohhhh, I see what you did there. Dohoho.

It makes sense if you ask me. If the bell needs someone to ring it, but we’ve never seen anyone do it, and abruptly Pinkie Pie volunteered (and nobody else did), then that means someone else must have been doing it faithfully up until then.
Besides, who else but Pinkie Pie would be so willing to do a favor for a friend when he/she couldn’t do his/her job for a day?
I’ll go with that. MY OC LIVES ON!!! (At least until an actual bell ringer shows up.)
Come to think of it, we’ve seen the bell quite often, and no pony to ring it. Maybe my OC is just really lazy.
Maybe (s)he was sick for the day, or visiting his/her mom, or attending a bell-ringer certification refresher training course (BRCRT) in Trottawa.
Eh, I guess nobody cares.
