Yeah, I know you’re trying to lump all of the elements of this together into some grey lump of vague subjectivity while ignoring the details because it makes your argument easier.

In any case, your entire argument is bizarre. It’s like if group A was flipping shit because someone brought a pepperoni pizza and “pepperoni pizza is shitty” then started harassing and booing the person who brought it, and Tenafly comes in angry at group A for flipping shit and being dicks over something that not everyone finds shitty, then YOU come in claiming Tenafly has a double standard because of some muddy system in your head where if anyone ever thinks something subjective then they are never allowed to call someone out for being subjective no matter what the circumstances or context because it would have to be a double standard then. I just don’t get what you’re trying to accomplish besides a really convoluted way of saying “no u”.

It’s ironic that you keep bringing up the “she asked them to stop” point, because you’re not stopping. You’re still going to war over a single brief incident which she wants to move past, and you’re still trying to martyr her over “harassment” while demonizing people like her. If this is about her feelings, then do you really think she’d actually want a war over it?

Your trying to make a picture of 2 ponies eating gravy more then it actually is, like saying that a (maybe former) porn actress reading a children story to a group of children makes it at least suggestive, simply because she was/is am adult film actress.
 
The whole “suggestive” thing is based on some(a lot) of JJs pictures being suggestive, but that does not automatically make this picture suggestive for the sake of it.

You’re making an awful lot of assumptions, particularly about why she deleted the picture. Of course, I doubt it ever crossed your mind that she did so to avoid further harassment.
 
It’s adorable that you keep using “screaming hysterics”, as well as putting words into my mouth. I’m sorry, but where exactly did I even use the words “vile” or “evil”? Honestly, if you have to resort to such tactics to “prove” something on the internet, then that’s just plain sad.
 
Let’s also not forget that not every brain is the same, and what is “suggestive” to one person is not “suggestive” to all people, no matter how much you keep avoiding that. The fact that she posted it in the first place is evidence enough that the image itself, without context, is not inherently “suggestive” unless you are deliberately interpreting it that way.
 
But hey, if you also want to insist that continuing to bother someone on a national holiday after being told to stop three times is a perfectly okay thing to do, then you are clearly not someone worth wasting anymore time on, because you have a pretty questionable grasp on reality.

The reality of what happened, screaming hysterics aside, is that she posted a suggestive picture without realizing it was suggestive, someone pointed it out to her, she deleted it because its suggestive nature bothered her, people kept talking about it enough to annoy her, and you started ranting and screaming about how unspeakably vile the evil evil evil SJWs who “attacked” here were being, because they dared to state facts.

I’m sorry, I wasn’t aware that it suddenly became not Thanksgiving, and that Nicole was suddenly aware from the beginning of any alternate interpretations of the image she posted, and that suddenly these people hadn’t actually harassed her, on a national holiday, to the point where she had to ask them to stop three times.

My point was not that revulsion has “ubiquitous triggers”. The value systems may be completely subjective, but one value system is being triggered by a false assumption; that the picture was objectively suggestive. Suggestive in this case is arguably very subjective. So tenafly, while having a value system that may be no more valid than “their” value system, is at least being triggered by a correct assumption (that suggestive is subjective) whereas the others value system is being triggered by a false assumption (that what’s suggestive is objective).

I’m one of the people who pointed out the URL to her. The only DWM that I care for is “Dragon Warrior Monsters” for the GameBoy Color. I was just pointing it out to her as she could have easily missed seeing the Molestis Tumblr link on a mobile device and not knew it was from that. If a Hasbro Suit caught it, who knows she could get fired or something. Plus she wasn’t a fan of mentions of Molestia in con panels so I doubt she would be here had she known at the time. Rather safe than sorry.
