“Timey-Wimey”
That’s definitely The Doctor.
Why do you think the internet exists?
On Monday, select theaters in the US ran a rebroadcast of “Day of the Doctor” (the 50th anniversary episode). Prior to the show, instead of the usual adverts they showed various pieces of Who trivia. This was one of them.
Lol, reminds me of Whovians got into conflict with star wars fans at the convention.
I just found out it was showing at the theater not far from me
I COULD OF GONE AND SEEN IT THERE!
GOD DAMN IT!
This was likely a one-time theater event for this.
Also to note that there are other places that have noted this eg >>478261
There were a few other laughs and cheers throughout the theater along with my own when this popped up. Whovians and Bronies really are quite tight-knit fandoms.
I know, I’m trying the strike down the notion that this character has not become related to the Dr. Who series.
“Dr. Whooves” is used on the Funko stuff.
This is outdated, now they canonized it as Doctor Hooves, without the W.
Not quite…
Doctor (W)hooves has been used on official merch including the guidebook. The only place Time Turner came from was Enterplay.
No.
His official name is Time Turner.
It’s close enough.
This looks like a trivia slide similar to what the live Rifftrax shows have (tonight is the Doctor Who “Day of the Doctor” bit), so it may not be BBC directly, but certainly someone’s gotta have checked the slides for copyright/etc before they were sent out.
