Twenty minutes is A-OK for a slice-of-life show… but season openings and closers should just be given movie treatments: If only in terms of length.
 
The essence of drama is conflict, and good conflicts require build-up.

1/5th of these two episodes were epic…this scene and every scene with Discord.
 
I don’t know why the rest of the episode was so badly written, its like there were two completely different writers.
