If you never liked her, that may be understandable, but the season has 26 episodes. It’s not going to focus on her the whole time. And even in these two episodes we have part of Celestia’s and Luna’s backstory, Discord is still morality is still questionable, and even Spike joins in on the adventure. What’s not to like?
 
Besides she’s still the same nerdy pile of friendship we all know and love, and she gave up their mcguffins to save the world. (Now they have a box with six keys, but that’s beside the point). Twilight is still Twilight, her friends know that and so do a lot of us, She just has a set of wings and a title now. She has new responsibilities, but they don’t come before the people she cares about.
