Haven’t you guys been to stores that sell MLP merchandise? When they sell stuff about her, it clearly says “Derpy Whooves” on the package in which it comes.

To be fair, she was going to be called “Ditzy,” originally in the script to the “Last Round-up.” (According to it’s writer) Let’s not start arguing over her name now.  
I like both names, but I’m kinda partial to Ditzy-Doo. It would’ve been a nice call-back to the “Winter Wrap-Up” episode, if they used it, but then I’m sure many “Derpy” fans would’ve complained regardless… She can be “Derpy,” or “Ditzy” if fans prefer.

@Background Pony #53C0 “Confirmed” where? As far as I know, the only “nod” that we have for her name being either Ditzy or Derpy is her address in one of the comics being D. Whooves/Hooves. That could stand for either Derpy or Ditzy. Otherwise, if she’s appeared in anything else, she’s usually identified with a muffin.
 
Besides, Ditzy is just as valid of a fan-name as Derpy is. Just because some of us prefer it over Derpy doesn’t give you the right to act like that.
