I actually really enjoy the countdown images if they’re cleverly done.

I hate to admit it, but this image has a point. Humanity seems to have lost all patience with the invention of the internet, and we can’t survive without a constant stream of new content and reminders (every freaking day) of coming content. We do have memories. We can do with an image or two that says “November 23”, but the countdown seems unnecessary, especially since each one is only accurate for one day. The web is a force for good, evil and everything in-between, but it has definitely done something weird to our brains.

But at least some of the fans are spastic ADHD-riddled children.
