Twilight is in a “playable flashback” when NM happened, then two scenarios can happen:
1.NM defeated Celestia
2.Celestia defeated NM and is crying now.
I find it funny that people are so instinctively willing to doubt that this is real. They thought the same about Twilicorn without considering the full picture and they were dead wrong. Looks like they didn’t learn their lesson.
Just like they weren’t bright enough to consider the idea of Twilicorn happening at all under any circumstances, they aren’t bright enough to consider that this image doesn’t necessarily mean Celestia’s death. All they do is shout “fake, hasbro wudnt let Celestia die!” Well, thank you for pointing out the obvious… How about changing your perspective on the image just a little, hm?
So basically Twilight somehow goes back in time, NMM beats Celestia, Twilight rages in sadness and banishes NMM to the Moon, Twilight somehow blabs it to Celestia that she time traveled to see what happened then “altered history”, Celestia takes credit, knows Twilight will exist in ~1000 years, makes sure she becomes her student.
if the Discord pic is real then it is safe to assume the first time travel screws up history and she has to go back and stop herself.
That’s the unfortunate thing with this show. The designs are so simple that it’s overwhelmingly easy for people to create fake material in order to mess with people.
@patachu
Except for the fact that Nightjack points out @Prof.NightJack “Promos on the other hand do have the channel ident hard-coded into it as it may show on other channels, but they are also made to correspond with the area it’s in.”
Likely we are going to see these screens on a more credible website soon enough, if not it was a well put together ruse.
okay you know why it’s faked? there’s a hub logo while it haven’t been broadcasted.
the logo is not on the pre-prod, or on the cartoon video itself, it’s added on the broadcasting by the channel while it transmits something, so it’s a really good work but they forgot this little detail that’s supposed to add credibility.
I think that is real, don’t forget, in all spoilers, the logo of Hub Network It’s in the top right corner. And, thinking about this image… God, I can’t wait! 10 days with 7 hours…
These images are likely legit. They conform to Entertainment Weekly clips: the Hub logo is top right and the bottom is cropped away to hide the EW logo.
Just keep an eye out on EW the coming days.
