That is terrifying.
Nope. New YT comments is essentially ‘everyone gets their own .txt’
Granted you still need to click on it to activate it, but it’ll pin whatever code it was supposed to execute straight into your url bar and then run it. So, treat the browser url as the win7+ file/folder location bar, and go from there. Takes a bit of modification but I’ve seen it done.
You’re kidding, right?
Actually you can write executable code straight into the comments now. No need for links
Thanks, man. :) It’s all cool.
Yeah, I’m sorry too. I realise I was rather nit-picky with your posts.
Actually, let me rephrase that… before you start accusing me of generalizing again…
I’m tired of SOME anti-Twilicorn fans acting that way.
I’m just tired of anti-Twilicorn people acting like they’re being oppressed all the time by anyone who disagrees with them.
Yep, both sides have a small number of extremely vocal trolls. That’s true of almost any group though. I just wish we could have a thread discussing the two sides of the debate (or even just one side) without it devolving into accusations of whining, shilling, and other meta-drama.
Funnily enough, that’s how I feel about several of the more vocal Twilicorn opponents.
Believe me, I’m well aware of that having been around other fandoms.
@Background Pony
Whatever, think of me what you want, but you’re kinda twisting my words a bit… So I don’t really know if I should bother to continue discussing it really.
I’m just saying people can dislike/like “Twilicorn” without being fanatical about it, but I’m not trying to demonize all non-Twilicorn fans. As I said I’m “neutral” on it to. I don’t care if she’s an alicorn, or a unicorn.
Though, I will admit the “Twilicorn” drama has died down in recent months. It only started up a li’l bit again when it was found out wingy-Twilight will be adapted in the IDW comic series to. (But you still can’t deny some were overreacting about that, as well.)
Can we just drop it now?
@Background Pony
This better not be a subtle-shot at me… (If it is, I’m leaving this discussion right now.) How am I preventing people from discussing things? You can discuss it all you want.
Nope. I generally don’t get annoyed at people for holding opinions, unless those opinions are stupid generalisations. I’m more annoyed by people who try to prevent others from discussing things, especially when they could easily ignore the discussion and look at something they actually like.
I hope you aren’t one of those hypocrites who will gladly yell at people for still being upset about Derpy.
Whether you intend it or not, your posts come across as really condescending. You begrudgingly admit that people are allowed to have opinions other than your own, but only if those opinions aren’t held too strongly. You admit that not all people who don’t like Twilicorn are “bad”, but in so doing you imply that the majority are.
If you’re tired of the drama, just block the “drama”, “alicorn drama”, “alicorn drama drama”, and “alicorn drama drama drama” tags. I imagine it would save you a lot of frustration and stress.
Dear sir,if all fanbases had a CM,that would be division and whining.
You don’t need know why, just that whatever happens, there will ALWAYS be a flame war, neutral crowd, the “Meh” crowd and the fanatics.
Trust me,it’s always one of the above in a fanbase.
…Excuse me?
I’m not trying to divide up the entire fanbase, and I don’t see how I’m doing that with just one comment stating I’ve had bad experiences with the anti-Twilicorn crowd… It’s true, so I have a right to say that.
I don’t think I have that much influence on the entire brony fanbase honestly, so I don’t think that one comment is going to somehow make things “worse.”
I’m not saying all non-Twilicorn fans are “bad,” I have a friend who’s not so sure about her becoming a princess either, only he’s not a brat about it, still likes the show, and still wants to see how it turns out in Season 4.
I also have another friend who thought the “Equestria Girls” movie was “meh,” but stated even she feels it got alot of undeserved hatred/drama before it even came out. (Even I wasn’t sure about that movie either, but I didn’t whine about it constantly. Though, admittedly I enjoyed some of it regardless.)
So even some people not keen on those things are tired of the drama to.
Also, I don’t think you noticed, but sadly the brony fanbase is already pretty divided up over the “Twilicorn,” and other recent things to that have been drummed up over the past year… Nothing’s going to change that.
I’m sure once season 4 starts, there’s going to be plenty of fans divided on it, as well.
I’m pro twilicorn.
You’re still trying to divide people up just by whether they like Twilicorn or not. Even if you don’t say as much, you’re still implying that certain subjective opinions are worse simply because more idiots support those opinions. Comments like yours just encourage the flame wars, and I find it hard to believe that you posted without realising that.
Well, honestly I hate to sound biased, but I think there’s more immature/rabid anti-Twilicorn people then there are immature/rabid pro-Twilicorn people honestly. (I’m neutral personally, I’m not effected by her having wings, or not.)
Fanatics on either side of the argument who insult people are obnoxious, I admit.
Even I’ve been hassled for not hating-Twilicorn back when the “Twilicorn” drama was rampant on this site months back. (Which thankfully has died-down lately, at least.)
You should see that I made an important distinction between the anti-anti-twilicorn camp and the pro-twilicorn camp. The latter are fine.
I look forward to seeing this posted on Youtube videos in the future. Bravo, my man.
