It doesn’t take a third eye to see when one’s been wronged by another. Scornful people/ponies aren’t born into this world, they’re grown from a heart wounded/mistreated by another of their kind.
 
As long as they still possess the ability to feel, they can still be loved. It just takes a genuine example of a friend/lover who cares to teach that scornful/angry creature it’s safe lower their “defenses”. Let the rage subside and heal their wounds, be the one for them that will protect them and be the one their past acquaintance couldn’t be.
 
Sorry, I’ve just seen too many good and kind people get trampled and forced into the dirt by others less caring…
