Not only did two of her exes come forward with their stories about having dealt with her, but she even admitted to the lying herself. I do not at all understand why anyone still listens to her.
Is there proof she lied? I’m always skeptical about dismissing people claiming to be victims. I’ve known too many in real life… Though, of those I’ve known, they never acted like her, but different folks react differently. I’ve met someone like her before, actually… Lots of issues. I’m not at all defending her behavior. Its never right to attack whole groups of people, and I despise nerd-shaming, especially coming from other nerds. I’m just saying that, despite not liking her, antagonism towards her is about as unhelpful as her advocating feminism and trans* rights.
Oh man. You really DON’T know about her. She’s also a compulsive liar (lied about being raped, lied about being harassed by “two six-foot-tall pro-molestia bronies that recognized her in a mall”, lied about being pregnant and having a miscarriage…) And then there’s the fact that at least half of her blog seems to be dedicated to taking potshots at the male MLP fan base, relying mainly on incredibly immature “fedora” jokes. She’s also painfully childish.
Ah, so though her general idea is fine, her methods (being so aggressive and loud) are going to have the opposite of the desired effect. I hate when that happens. It seems when someone is new to and passionate about a cause, they forget that being calm, kind and reasonable are the best ways of getting people to listen. And some people just never seem to grow out of that phase.
From what I can gather, it’s the way she’s horribly going about things (the same way she did with DWM). I remember one of the people I talked to mentioned how her methods are going to end up hurting trans people rather than helping them. But, as I said, I only have what I’ve been told to go on.
I’m guessing that stands for that “down with molestia” thing. I remember it vaguely, but I never bothered with the details. I mean, that thing was meant to be offensive. Maybe I’m a bad, complacent feminist who can laugh off offensive things. I just did a brief lookup of her, and, well, she just seems to be really attention hungry, but that isn’t terribly odd for that age. I missed whatever she said was genuinely offensive to trans* folks, though.

Because she’s far worse than that. Let’s just say, since I found out that she’s moved on to pissing off trans people, I sincerely believe she has major psychological problems.

I hadn’t even heard of this girl until now. Checked her blog out a little… Seems like pretty normal, immature high school drama and championing causes she might not be fully knowledgeable about. It seems like her heart’s attempting to be in the right place, though she’s more than a little overbearing and off putting. She seems like the kind of person you just give a little slack to and don’t take too seriously, at least until she matures a bit.
I don’t know, and I’m not about to go to her blog or check any related tags to find out. I just know that a few people who follow me on tumblr are pretty pissed about it.

Seriously, if you want to spew your fatalism in a thread about s3 or s4, go ahead. The way the anti-Twilicornites keep whining and moaning in unrelated images, though, is quickly making me lose all respect for their side.
