Headcanon Mode Below

I like to think of the Canterlot Archives as a ponified version of the Great Library of Alexandria, and so I used an artistic drawing as reference (the same one on the front page of wikipedia for the article on it).

Also, I had outfits for all of the Royal Archivists in mind, but I didn’t add them because it would’ve been a ton of extra work with not enough space, and because I’m not completely finished designing them yet.

Each of the visible pillars have cutie marks of historically influential ponies on them. The most visible is Celestia’s, with the two in the back being ones I made up for Commander Hurricane and Princess Platinum, though they aren’t completely visible. The one to the right of Celestia’s is supposed to be Luna’s, which was promptly removed after the whole “Nightmare Moon” incident.

Lastly, these pieces that are made that involve Twilight are set before the start of the show in terms of a timeline.
