Yeah, the animator for this one tried to do a human skip on them, it works as a dance tho.

Watch carefully for how the CMC’s are walking here. Their gait pattern goes like this:
Front Left + Rear Right
Front Left + Rear Right
Front Right + Rear Left
Front Right + Rear Left

Apparently this is how a four-legged creature “skips”.
