Yeah, I can see that connection. Still their way to make others smile are pretty different. But I see Pinkie more like Cynthia by how both are very cloudcuckoolanders and sometimes crazy prepared.

Personally I can easily see Pinkie as Nowi, mostly due to the support conversation Nowi has where she says she thinks her job in the army is “To keep everyone smiling.”

Hmmm… Nope. Sorry. But I can’t see Pinkie as Nowi for many reasons:

Pinkie likes to make others smile via jokes and goofy ways. Nowi does with games and overall optimism.
Nowi is more childish and “innocent”, while Pinkie is over-the-top yet mature in some ways.
BOOBS. PINKIE HAS AND IS PORTRAIED WITH MASSIVE CHEST/CROTCHBOOBS. NOWI IS THE CUTEST MOST LOVABLE FLATTY I’VE EVER SEEN.
