Seeing how this is after claw formation, aka raptor cteno, I think she finally has enough consistency for this to not be an issue, but I don’t recall Slugbox in this retcon version of her.

I liked Cteno’s design as weird as it was. And the fact she was an amorphous creature across bones that gave her anatomic structure reminded me of the Kandra from the Mistborn trilogy who were pretty cool guys.
 
…That being said, lounging near water wouldn’t that be the human equivalent of leisurely lying beside a vat of acid?

Just go to Slugbox tumblr, if it hasn’t been deleted by trolls that is, he draws plenty of cteno. Do keep in mind it’s essentially his tease character.

I haven’t seen Cteno in a very long time.

How is this about getting rustled over Cteno?  
I swear people always resort to “Cteno hate” to try dimiss any criticism as if people have an agenda to hate on Cteno.
 
I never liked Cteno, but i also don’t hate it.  
I didn’t mind when it was posted on ponibooru because the artist was in the fandom and supposedly was intended to be a pony.
 
But then after the artist himself has stated that is not pony, is not MLP and he doesn’t want anything to do with the fandom anymore, you’d think that Cteno doesn’t really belong here anymore, and the insistance of some people for keep posting it here despite all of that, just baffles me.
 
Again, i don’t mind Cteno being posted here as long as it is pony, but as @Background Pony  
pointed out, that doesn’t seem to be the case here.

Actually, I did the same thing when the wolf furry the artist was claiming was a female diamond dog but had nothing similar to them came by, and generally call out pictures of characters that have nothing to do with anything (for example, a madoka picture posted here because it was a memorial of Ghost, which is great but has no point in the gallery).
 
I only keep returning to this one because people keep posting a completely unrelated OC. Say that tomorrow no one posted non-pony pictures of Cteno here you would not hear from me again about the matter, but that’s unlike to happen because nostalgia is one hell of a drug, I suppose.
 
In the meantime, this doesn’t belong here for already outlined reasons and I will keep repeating them until the non-applicable pictures are removed.

4chan origins and the lack of needs to constantly have my ego stroked by others, for the most part. Hiding also implies I talk one thing on one side and not another. That’s patently false. Plus, ask the mods, I never use a name (in fact, I wouldn’t have gotten an account if the stupid filter didn’t exists).
 
And it’s not like I’m not recognizable, you can find my posts in every single cteno picture I believe the discussion warrants it.

On the other hand, I keep posting Slugbox pictures which are actually related whenever I find one not already posted, so I’m not sure what you are getting at.
 
I simply find the insistence of bring a clearly non-pony cteno into place to be misguided because it opens space for the recolor, car fucking dragons for the fact they both have as much to do with MLP at this point.
 
Hell, I even post pony cteno when I can find it because I like the design, but that’s not a pony, and it’s not even a “transformed” version of the character because the character isn’t a pony anymore. You can ponified it however.
