Magica De’spell, and yeah she did the voice perfectly. She & Allen must be in good health for their age. (Alot of people are lucky to reach 90.)

Wonder if they’ll get to remake “Ducktales 2,” (Yes, there was a sequal for both NES & Gameboy. The GB version was even rereleased under the “Player’s Choice/Million seller” label.)

Don’t forget June Foray is her 90s too, and she still does Granny from Looney Tunes perfectly. It’s truly admirable how much actors like them still love doing their jobs.

I’m still amazed they got Allen Young to reprise the role of Scrooge Mcduck’s voice. Especially, sense he’s now in his 90s, but they said he came in, and did the voice perfectly, with no problems.

These were trusted to remake one of the most beloved games of all time…and for the most part they succeeded. If they get their hands on MLP, it’s in good hands.

Yeah, Wayforward is pretty much one of the few game companies that actually makes GOOD licensed games. Wayforward’s “Adventure Time” for 3DS (played the demo) proved quite good, the dialogue (and unusual plot) seemed true to the characters, and in some ways the game had some gameplay influences from “Zelda 2.” (Such as the overworld map, and enemy shadow encounters that send you to a sidescrolling fighting area, and such.)

I also hear their “Batman: Brave & the Bold” for Wii was quite good to, and alot like classic arcade multiplayer brawlers. (Like River City Ransom, Simpsons arcade, Final Fight, and such.)

Wayforward making an MLP:FiM game would be my dream come true.
Even their original games are quite good, like cult-classic Shantae, and Mighty Switch Force.

Also, the GameLoft MLP:FiM “Sim City”-style game wasn’t that bad, it just was a li’l heavy on the wallet, and needed more mini-games. They had some neat event updates for it to.

I would trust Wayforward with this. They may have a lot of movie-tie in titles but their work on Ducktales and Boy and his Blob are quality products.

Any officially sanctioned MLP:FiM game will suck. The cost of the license will discourage any indie developers from releasing an MLP game for free, and any for-profit game will be designed to appeal to the target audience as well as bronies. They don’t lose anything because many bronies will buy it anyway regardless of quality (e.g. the GameLoft MLP game), and they’ll be able to cash in on all those whiny kids and their parents.

The end result will be a watered-down, simplistic game with flashy graphics and no substance. Think Farmville or Angry Birds instead of Deus Ex or Dwarf Fortress.
