Also Undertaker Has Many Moves He Has The Tombstone Piledriver, Chokeslam And The Last Ride Trixie Has Nothing Compared To Undertaker And He’s 6”10 305 Pounds
Or is there… ?
@Background Pony
I will say this in Trixie’s favor: when confronted with an angry Ursa, she actually did try to take it on. But you did bring up one thing that Trixie apologists always overlook: in the brief scene we saw of her being off-stage, she still acted like a conceited, self-centered jerk.
Don’t get me wrong: I don’t think she’s evil, I don’t think she deserved to have her cart destroyed by the Ursa Minor, and I do like her as a character. But casting her as a decent, victimized showpony whose life was ruined by the bullying Elements of Harmony rubs me the wrong way, for several reasons.
Problem with that theory. Wrestling fans know that everything is fiction. They know the Undertaker is not dead, Cody Rhodes is not fired and Triple H’s lack of business sense is all storyline. They just can get invested in the story.
With Trixie, they do not know from the start it was fiction. As far as they know, she was telling the truth. After all, magic is real in that universe so what she said could have happened.
And with Trixie’s character being the same on and off the stage, she was counting on them to buy her lie. And when it was time to show off, her true colors happened.
a few issues there. one: RD brags because even though she still needs practice she actually can back up her claims of being the fastest flier in all of equestria. two: at first they were merely talking to each-other and trixie butted in on their conversation because they were questioning her greatness. three: your wrestling example doesn’t hold its weight for many reasons including how fake wrestling is, the fact that applejack, rarity, and rainbow dash ARE NOT average janes by any stretch of the imagination! they helped take down a maddened demigod like a month before that episode for christ’s sake!
there was a new pony in town going around bragging about how awesome she was, and calling everyone in the crowd worthless swine 1, and then you have the gall to defend HER from namecalling!? when someone goes around claiming to be all-powerful, and then acts like a total dick they’re gonna be called out on it; it just so happened that AJ, RD, and rarity underestimated their opponent, especially her penchant for using underhanded tactics instead of following through with her claim of “anything you can do I can do better.”
honestly, Trixie is still the one that lost that confrontation, even though she humiliated her opponents, because SHE didn’t follow through with her claims! She KNEW someone would challenge her! she set the bait up just right for at least ONE person in a crowd of easily over twenty people to call her bluff, and then because she IS more powerful than the average unicorn she KNEW she had the upper hand in probability of finding someone capable of defeating her even with her underhanded tactics. add to that that she deliberately lulled any challengers into a sense of security by making claims of extraordinary feats of strength that NOBODY could accomplish!
She is just as her name implies; trixie. she has a lot of tricks, but when those fail she has no real firepower to back up her claims, and THAT is why she ran; she had been proven a fraud and her pride was damaged. (also, a baby space bear had just crushed her house) It is still her fault for not returning to aid in the repairs and recovery. yes, she was afraid… afraid of taking responsibility for her claims causing a lot of damage to the town. she might not have been legally accountable, but she was still the reason the baby space bear was there in the first place.
1 (paraphrasing. I shouldn’t have to say that that’s paraphrased, but you seem like you could use the help in understanding me)
…
You are just unable to perceive this in anything other than WWE terms, aren’t you? Despite the complete lack of evidence that Ponyvillians (or Equestria at large) is familiar with concepts such as “kayfabe”.
And if you think ponies are “retards who overreact over everything”, why are you watching the show?
Just saying that Humans are smart who know about Kayfabe and dont attack a wrestler outside of the ring. While ponies are retards who overreact over everything
RD had no reason to talk since SHE herself is the master of bragging. And Trixie had no choise but to tell that story, if a heel was asked why he is so special he would call himself the greatest wrestler their is and say he would defeat like let us say everyone else. Besides, AJ and Rarity could have just left instead of taunting her. And as for AJ accepting her challange, weeks ago Punk as a face told a fat guy in the front to come up and fight him, had the fat guy accepted it instead of feeling great that a famous guy saw him no one would blame punk, they would blame the fat guy for being an idiot. AJ and Rarity should have let the ponies who were enjoying the show enjoy it.
Also Insults are never nice, they went over the top instead of just leaving her alone, Trixie ran away because she felt threatnent, its like when that girl tried to attack Jericho in the parking lot, he tried to leave but she pushed it too far and got a punch in the face,
I think you need to rewatch the episode: Boast Busters (Trixie’s show starts at 2:18 if you want to skip to the relevant part.)
The show starts with Trixie bragging, and Applejack and Rarity (not Rainbow Dash, at first) disapproving of it. Trixie’s response is– to brag some more, not to challenge them. RD asks why she’s so special, and Trixie responds with her Ursa Major story. Only after the entire audience (save Snips and Snails) greets the story with silence does she issue her challenge, which she repeats until AJ takes her up on it.
As for the names: do you dispute that, in the episode, Trixie was a “loudmouth”, “unpleasant”, and “all hat and no cattle”?
Rarity RD and AJ could have just bitten their asses and left the show for the ones who were enjoying it, but they decieded to be retards and call her out when they have no business with her at all. Atleast those chanters were just trying to get themselfs over not ruin the entire show. She challanged them because they would not leave and just taunted her untill she had to take some actions before her show is ruined. And they called her bad names at the end of the episodes because they are retarded and dont know anything about anything except for “yay fwendship”.
There’s also quite a difference between a WWE match and a traveling magic show.
Yeah, I think thats all I really need write, the rest of the joke pretty much writes itself.
