The main things people don’t like about him are a) his Objectivism, b) his way of inserting his fetishes (considered gross by a lot of people) into his work willy-nilly, and c) his art skills having deteriorated due to him being a lazy, self-satisfied ass.

I know what you mean about some of these artists. Chadrocco was one artist I respected. He does decent work, but this whole spat with MLPFIM and his attitude just really disappointed me. Watched his analysis videos as well and they never seemed to carry the weight of someone who ever enjoyed something. Even the episode he did like, Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 9000, carried a general overtone of disheartenment because it wasn’t “just perfect” in his eyes, though he did give it a high score.
 
People are entitled to their opinions, but some people just seem so saddened with things they shouldn’t even try. Speak from experience here myself.

In my case, he’s odious as a person and lazy as an artist. And his art has degenerated over the years, not improved.

There are some artists I downvote as soon as I see their stuff pop up, yet don’t feel quite justified in blocking them, since the art itself does not typically offend me, just the artist.
 
Jay Naylor fits that bill exactly.
