I mean the MAIN actors who play the Rangers and such, not all the actors as a whole since that would make my statement more confusing, heh.

I will say though I’m unsure how I feel about them shooting in New Zeland though since the random extras do a pretty terrible job of hiding their accents, especially the kids. The actors I’m sure are mostly American so they don’t have this issue, but the extras kind of sometimes mess up the disbelief by obviously sounding like an Aussie (or whatever New Zelanders call themselves) do a poor job trying to sound American.

I confess I haven’t really watched a PR series since Time Force (that was was really good), but I did decide to check out Samurai and Megaforce (especially since Megaforce has that much hyped “20th anniversary” crossover event coming at some point). I feel like Samurai starts off rather janky because Saban is trying to get back into the swing of things since Disney had ownership of the franchise for almost a decade, but eventually it settles back into the usual “awesomely cheesy” show I remember (plus bringing back Bulk and his original actor was an awesome move to bring in old fans like me).
 
Megaforce, I admit I haven’t seen much of, but it does feel like it’s supposed to be more like Mighty Morphin’ since it’s the 20th anniversary series and they’re trying to include a lot of old school charm for the older fans while still keeping things at a level where a six year old can still follow the plot. In that regard it is reminding me a lot of really early Mighty Morphin’ with some more cheesy than usual acting and dialogue, but I’m sure like MMPR it’ll probably settle in and get better near the end. If only I could keep up though… I don’t wake up early on weekends anymore, heh.

I started Goseiger expecting it to be awful, but it was surprisingly good. So far Megaforce didn’t impress me, but once again I’m not used to Power Rangers.

But I’m getting the feeling I’m going to HATE Super Megaforce.

BUT IT’S POWER PONIES MAREFORCE, THE SUPER STABLE VERSION IS THE WORST!

The funny thing is that I’m betting they’re going to make Spike a massive (secret) comic book nerd that knows how to defeat the main villains of the comic because he “wastes” all of his free time reading them.
