Depends on the type you drink. Like actual wine, there are lots of varieties. Nigori, which is basically an unfiltered dessert sake, is usually very sweet. And there are some very dry junmai daiginjo sakes on the other end of the spectrum. The cheap stuff they serve warm, that’s more hit-or-miss.
