My Little Pony ‘n Friends: S2 E15 - Escape from Katrina (part 2)
aka Special #2
In which the shapeshifting lizard-man Rep attempts to deceive Baby Moondancer into giving him the Rainbow of Light, before resorting to force.
Unknown Pony: “Hello there, Princess!”
Baby Moondancer: “Who are you?”
Unknown Pony: “I’m going to the costume ball too. My, what a pretty locket. Can I see it?”
Baby Moondancer: “Why?”
Unknown Pony: “Uh.. I-I’m a nurse! I have to examine it!”
Baby Moondancer: “No…”
Rep: “Gimmie that locket!”
Baby Moondancer: “No!”
Rep: “Give it to me!
Baby Moondancer: “NO!”

“You show the slightest bit of doubt in my disguise? WELL FUCK IT. GIMME DAT LOCKET!”
I kind of laughed when he transformed.
Feel free to break it up or save screencaps as you like, I left the high quality source posted too. :)
Well, Baby Moondancer was on her way to a costume party, so any kind of costume would’ve been just as good or bad.
At least his shapeshifting powers are cool.
Also, Rep is best pony (I like the colors) .
Eh, good point.
Of course confronting someone in the night, as a stranger, asking to look at their stuff is not very comforting.
Also, was a nurse the best thing he could come up with? I’d too be suspicious of a nurse just asked to look at my things.
He’s not exactly interested in stealing from a little girl, when you get down to it. Rep knew Katrina back when she wasn’t evil, and isn’t enamored of her actions as a strung-out junkie.
When against an adult, he puts up a better fight.
I think by that point it was clear she wouldn’t cooperate, though. The tone of her voice and the way she just keeps circling and backing away.
The problem here is that the ponies of Dream Valley live as a small commune of sorts, only about 30 or so altogether, instead of a huge regular populated town. It’s much more suspicious to see an unknown pony here.
Sometimes it feels like there’s more than FiM, but that’s just because none of them are ‘background’ ponies.
