Indeed. Just search a pony by their full name (or non-pony character (haha, “NPC”)) and the search bar will change to their main color scheme.
Answered my own question: Yes.
YouTube does stuff like this all the time as Easter eggs (try ‘Do the Harlem Shake’).

I tried it after seeing this, and it worked. Not sure what I was doing wrong last time, unless her color wasn’t even installed yet.
Chrysalis’s color is still there for me.
Geek week is over, and the feature is still there, so I get the feeling it’s there to stay.
They even added more colors.
I think they should have been more personalized, but hey it’s just a simple skin over youtube.
