“
OK, 3rd attempt at plushy making, and I’m quite pleased with it. I’ve been getting a lot of pointers from my mother who has been sewing for longer than I’ve been alive. It’s been very helpful. Derpy here is made of a combo of Velour and Minky, and the eyes were painted using mufti-layered stencils and a blend of acrylic paint and textile medium. Although people have often mentioned their frustration with working fuzzy materials like these, so far they have been the easiest for me. I can see why so many people use material like Minky, but between the two I did like the Velour most. Also another detail I’ve been including with these is I have been putting poly beads in the feet to lower the center of gravity so it stands up very easily. This once again was made using a pattern by :iconvallyviolet: It has been a wonderful design to work with and I have been enjoying the learning experience quite a bit. But as always I’m excited to hear what you all think, your feedback is always appreciated”
