ah, ok then I offer my sincere apologies; I’ve seen a lot of blogs/stories that tend to go into author tract, usually bashing Celestia, and for various reasons I interpreted this as one of them. I apologize for casting aspersion on you’re writing and views. Though, why is Celestia overweight in this verse? Again sorry if I was overly rude.
Twilight’s opinion of a character does not equal my opinion of a character, and any decent writer(Though i’m not an expert at all.) knows not to make all the main characters share the exact same opinion of the author.
What about Twilight’s speech about Celestia “ignoring” the problems/threats to the nation and lying about being a god, though whether they are viewed as gods or not has never really come up in the show the level of reverence ponies have for her seems to disturb Celestia more than anything. Sorry if this seems rude.
Actually, I don’t have anything against her, just was kind of a plot device.
