I don’t upload art based on whether I like it or not. As long as it’s pony-related and not uploaded yet, I upload the artwork regardless of my personal opinion.
Unpopular and even dirty job? Maybe. A service to Derpibooru and bronydom in general? Definitely.
Because she’s modeled after a typical southern country girl.
Now I understand where the confusion is from. On my part, I should have specified “Sub-Saharan Africans” instead of “Africans”, since not all equines in the continent would be zebras. For one, the Boers and the Cape Dutch would be ponies.
One of those assholes who think that zebra = African and all that disagree are wrong. How about the artist draws whatever skin tone he or she prefers?

I think it’s unfair to draw any of them as Africans in the first place, given that canon already established zebras as the sentient equines of that region.

But i´ve seen pics of Twi, Rare, Shy, Pinkie and even RD as black persons and they aren´t Zebras either.
So isn´t it fair to draw AJ black? And i mean in an art way like this one that is actually good?
