Which is an interesting notion, especially when we still consider children to not have full judgement over their actions, the future, or anything else.

I don’t believe in telling children ‘what they can be’ at all. Defining people by their economic activity is wrong. We should encourage our children to be just.

So? The lie you can be anything you want is perhaps the single most damaging thing we are telling children today, and it shows with the attitudes it generates. Gender limitations aren’t really my cup of tea (coming from a family of women who are feminine as they come but are, from youngest to oldest: a boxer, a lawyer, a plumber, an engineer, and a part-time self-defense and street-fighting instructor, and those are merely the ones Interact normally), but that argument is bullshit as a reason for that.
I can only say one thing to that.
