Living in a valley where heat waves are expected to be over 100F, then finding out you’re going on vacation to the mountains during that week and finding it’s going to be 80F max.

Life would be terrible without air conditioners/fans during the really hot days of the summer.
I prefer the cold, at least in the coldest days of winter you can always put on tons of clothes…. Or wrap yourself in half a dozen blankets if you’re at home.
