And that kind of is the point of the Waifu. It’s pretty much pointing out a fictional character and saying “That’s my Dream girl. Right there.”
Oh yeah…I would definitely court Sunset Shimmer if she was real…shrugs But she isn’t. It’s still fun though to think it.

It’s more a fictional character who if she existed, you would try and make your wife, but still understand that she’s not real and make a sad sighing sound.
Then there’s those that don’t see the difference, and do think of them as a wife, even though she isn’t real.
And then there’s a small group that tolls those people.

I had no idea what a waifu was until I got into this fandom.
Apparently it’s a character you are really attached too or something along those lines.
One with a Jealous Waifu who will kill him should he even look at another Mare?
Or maybe he’s just plain foolish.
