I’m pretty sure that this page is the original source; should the source link be changed, or is this comment sufficient documentation?
 
Also, the art style is a terrific homage to Jack Kirby, but I don’t know if that’s something y’all would want in the tags…

God wouldn’t it be awesome if they used this as an alternate cover for an issue of the comic book?

In the 1980s, the legendary Jack Kirby began designing characters and toys for cartoons, many of which were never produced. Sadly, the King of Comics never got to put his stamp on famous toys like G.I. Joe or Transformers, but there’s one property we wish he’d tackled more than any other: My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic!
