Will say that this is what I am talking about! This image has two zany characters from shows, feels in character, stylize poses. This is type of stuff gets props for, actual effort.

True, SonicxDash shipping gets downvoted to hell but if the artists had some understanding of character poses, composition, use of space like this one, maybe it wouldn’t be blasted as hard.

Eh, I wouldn’t put Antoine on that high a pedestal, but that was a pretty noble thing he did.
 
And he’s not going to die, Ian Flynn even stated “the SatA.M. characters aren’t going anywhere,” and said he wants to continue to preserve them in the book, as he’s a fan of them, and watched the show as a kid to.

Antoine can’t die. A real man never dies, even when he’s killed, and Antoine is more man than any non-echidna character. Which isn’t to say he’s not manlier than most echidnas, it’s just that if I included them, he’d literally have to contend with Jesus.

I know, I’ve been subscribing to the Sonic comics for quite awhile now. And technically, what he did was he used himself as a human-shield (or should I say animal-shield?) when Metal Sonic was using itself to self-destruct as a bomb, and kept it from blowing up the King of New Mobotropolis, (Sally’s brother.) and he had help fighting it, as well to be fair. So he didn’t overpower it that easily actually.
 
Hope he recovers soon, alot of Sonic fans surprisingly had a cow over that, (As well as Sally’s temporary roboticization.) even though he’s a pretty minor character nowadays. (But I still like him.)  
I remember before it was revealed Antoine was in a coma, (and still alive) after getting blown-up, and rushed to the hospital by Sonic at the end of an issue, fans were going NUTS! One freaky fan even said if Antoine dies, then somebody should “shoot” Ian Flynn, the writer for the Sonic (and Megaman) comics…  
(As much as I like Antoine, I’m sorry, but a REAL life is more important then a fictional one, and that’s a pretty disgusting thing to say.)
 
That almost makes me afraid of Sonic fans honestly. (And I am one.)

I know. And he’s currently comatose after singlehandedly fighting Metal Sonic. Either they’ve all gotten better or the Metal Sonic frame should be discontinued.
