New JP MLPFIM opening (see video link). Beyond the first and last 10 sec, the rest is just show clips but the theme is pretty good.

Still, it will grate when after the happy sappy song, it begins with Twilight almost murdering another Pony in the caves.
Well, so far, they’ve cut the “Previously on My Little Pony” segment out of both of the second part episodes they’ve aired thus far (they go straight into the theme song after the beginning narration scene of their own creation), though if the time cuts are restored for the eventual home media release (whether that’s DVD, Blu Ray, whatever), I can see where you’re coming from.
Agreed; I mean, with the exception of Pinkie Pie (and Fluttershy, on occasion) the Japanese voices are good, but the English ones are far better, IMO. But with Pinkie Pie, or the CMC, for example, I feel their Japanese voices are almost as good as the English ones (in fact, I’ve said multiple times that Suzuko Mimori sounds like a Japanese Andrea Libman, when doing her Pinkie Pie voice).
I still think they hired better VAs for secondary characters than the main ones.
Not sure as to why that is though.
Because Japan, that’s why (I don’t know really, maybe because they need so many opening styles than they can’t choose after).
Did they already finished season 1?
A cartoon which his opening is changed to an anime style and nobody bat an eye, but an anime which his opening is changed to a cartoon style and everone loses their minds.
In short, a clash of culture.
