I can totally see Discord using Explosive Runes, but they wouldn’t be NORMAL explosive runes. DISCORD using normal explosions? Oh goodness, no. How trite.

No, these Explosive Runes would cause catastrophic flatulence at inopportune times. I’m talking “shattering silver serving platters but leaving the items on top intact”, “setting off car alarms even though they use carriages”, “knocking over ponies but leaving them in dapper outfits” and “destroying bathroom walls just as an attractive mare was about to step into a bath, exposing them to the outside” level of catastrophic.

Once per rune. And there would be multiple runes.

However, if the victim of said runes were to attempt to say “Hell with it” and then “force the breeze”, it would come out as the most adorable squeak ever, instigating ecstatic applause and mass approval from all who heard it.
