I was told Friendship is the only reason why Pony towns and cities didn’t get attacked by giant creatures like in some Kaiju movies.
Friendship is the strongest and most versatile plot device of them all!
I wouldn’t know. I’ve seen enough Transformers shows but never exactly explain how Transformers becoming a Combiner, only they’re were literally built that way.
Anyway, I have another ‘plot device:’ Friendship. With the power of Friendship and their bond, they might combine.

I’m inclined to agree with Mayojar here, though your point about the toys selling is valid too.
In Transformers fandom, there’s a reason why third party made TFs are able to sell for such high prices. For example, homages to the original Insecticons or Constructicons. Hasbro meanwhile gives us another Bumblebee.
For MLP fandom, I’m sure a lot of us would kill for figures with some actual articulation. Or at least give poor Applejack her hat! The poor dear looks practically naked without it!
