MIf you say it like that then, he hits the cap very early on. Like let’s the cap is 999 he’d hit that around level 30-40. But to balance that his spells would cost 2 or 3 points more to cast.

I meant his MP amount. I mean, sure it’s common for Final Fantasy to be able to reach 999 MP by level 99, but relatively speaking, how soon would he hit that cap? or rather, what would his average MP be?
MI imagine his MP pool starting out pretty average but as he levels it grows at an increasing rate. Essentially at the higher tiers his pool would be the highest of all.
MI would expect it to be a log scale.
What do you make of his MP then? Big or Small? And while we’re at it, what do you think his stats would be?
Lifting straight from a google doc of mine, I have him pegged with excellent Magic and perfect Magic Defense, god awful speed, and terrible in other stats with the exception of Stamina (which is a unique mechanic I have detailed in the document). So he works like a gimmick character, sort of like Magikarp, only the jump into top tier is more of a gradual climb so to speak.
MYeah but those three basic spells could save your party from a sweep against a particularly dangerous enemy.
MConsidering he’s specifically a time mage, he’d probably have some kind of boos when using them.
In an RPG environment, Snails could realistically learn just about any spell given time, but for the majority of the game, he’d be stuck with those three until he reaches maybe level 50 or so when he finally starts learning things like Cure and Fira.
I only know Kingdom Hearts…
MYou just list three of the most useful spells in all of Final Fantasy.
MRoom for growth. Given a few years, he could probably learn a spell which turns his foes into dust.
To bad all he knows is Slowga, Stop, and Gravity.
