Ok Elfin Lied works as an Anime for a Babies first Guro-style Anime. It wasn’t bad by any stretch. If I have a problem with it. It was the way 4Chan was selling it as the most f’ed up thing ever… Which it wasn’t!
 
As for School Days…. Well it kinda felt like School Days… 90% percent crap, and then the Last Week before final Gradation. That that Idiot managed to survive until that last Epic Boat Episode is a f’n mystery! I suppose it required watching. Just in case your as clueless as that Character in handling Yandereries. Personally I’d rather watch Mirai Nikki (Yuno Gasai), for that. Much MUCH MORE ENTERTAINING…. ’Specially for the first half of the Show….
 
Which reminds me I need to find out if the OVA has moved on since the First Ep….

And I never said I didn’t like Elfin Lied. I said that it was over rated. School Days however just down right sucked!

Like always my exposure to really good Manga is limited. But I tend to agree the Manga is usually 100% then any Anime.

And thus “Dub-Kill” was born!  
Hell, that Diclonius-helmet even looked like a Daft Punk-helmet.

I agree, Higurashi is one of those shows, where the more I think about it, the more awesome it becomes.  
But I still enjoyed Elfen Lied, especially the manga-version, since it becomes really crazy in the later parts, that unfortunately weren’t adapted into anime (which I still like).

Like I said Elfin Lied is OK… Not great, not bad just ok… Its got a few scenes in it that are like HOLY S*@~!! But, on the whole its Preschool Guro. With undertones of Loli reap in it.
 
Higurasgi actually encourages you to think. Well it was adapted from a series of VN Games so yeah the story is as solid as concrete!  
The premise almost always runs along the same timeline and as seen though a different Character, and their interaction with-in it.
 
Needless to say it usually end pretty badly…
 
As for Mirai Nikki well unlike say Elfin Lied, there’s a bit of fun for ya right there! how could anyone not like Yunno?
 
Since we’re on this subject I’d like to sate that if I seem to dislike Elfin Lied. I FREAKING HATE SCHOOL DAYS!!

I would not agree with that argument, most Diclonii in both the anime and the manga have shown mental issues. You totally have a right for Elfen Lied to not really get you going though.

I have the whole series on DVD, still haven’t watched it yet though. (cause I’m a wuss)
