But Celestia has a literal 100% approval rating. Bloodless only works when a majority of the populace is on your side. Even if Celestia wouldn’t fight, her subjects sure as hell would.

Sunset was plotting to overthrow an immortal sun empress beloved by the entire nation. I doubt she’ll object to murder. And if she does, she has a radically misinformed notion of what taking over the world entails.
