Part eight of Broken Wings, in which Alex tells Lightning Dust his life’s story, and the disgraced pegasus responds with a difficult admission of her own.

Well, I thought I’d perfected the hair simulation in the last page, but it turned out even better in this sequence with a couple more tweaks.

There were a heck of a lot of challenges that I ran into while creating this pages. In particular, the graveyard scene took me a long time to model, and the posing for the “hoof-holding” scenes took a lot of fiddling before I got it to look natural.

If I’m not mistaken, this is the longest sequence I’ve done yet, but believe me, I’m just getting started. The story only gets more intense from here.
